I would like to add the following text to the bottom of the powerplant paragraph and would appreciate any suggestions as to appropriateness

However, the thermal efficiency of this section of the power plant can be significantly affected by a build up of fine ash particles generated when the fuel source is burned. It is not unusual to find ash mountains within economiser units which means they require extensive and lengthy manual cleaning. Rotary steam soot blowers are sometimes used but because of their design they lack real penetrating power and so sonic soot blowers are now generally used to prevent the ash particles from settling out in the economizer section. These sonic soot blowers use high energy-low frequency sound waves with frequencies generally between 350 Hz down to 60 Hz. As they are sounded for a few minutes at regular intervals the ash is prevented from settling out and therefore continues within the gas stream to then be separated our downstream in either a baghouse filter or electro static precipitator. Question on use of (British?) word "Display/Displays" 06/29/18 edit

In reading the article, there are 5 uses of the word display, or displays, and I don't "get it". I went to the Cambridge English dictionary, and couldn't find any meaning fitting the context here. I copied the article and changed "display" to "system" and re-read those sentences, they made somewhat more sense..

Thanks! WardXmodem (talk) 22:24, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

I agree; "display" is clearly not the correct word to use. "System" may be better, but I'm honestly not sure. There are other peculiarities in the article that lead me to conclude that the article was written by someone whose first language is not English. I don't doubt the technical expertise of the author. The article would be first-rate if written better. At least I try (talk) 20:37, 22 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
