Ecological literacy needs to be linked from search text 'ecoliteracy'. This page should look similar to 'Environmental Education' because ecoliteracy is basically the ideal outcome of environmental education. 58.111.107.122 (talk) 05:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, it took a decade for someone to actually do it, but I just approved that redirect through Articles for creation: Ecoliteracy. Nathan2055talk - contribs 05:40, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think Frank Herbert may have coined the term earlier in Dune, the part where Liet Kynes is left in the desert to die and begins to hear his father - "To the working planetologist, his most important tool is human beings," his father said. "You must cultivate ecological, literacy among the people. That's why I've created this entirely new form of ecological notation." 2A00:23C7:270A:F900:E912:9787:56E8:BBAF (talk) 11:33, 20 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
