Overall, this is a very informative article. Some things that could be changed are the references. One of the things that could be improved is updating the references. For example, reference number seven dates back to 1997. This can seem a little outdated in regards to current information on the Eastern small-footed myotis. Furthermore, reference number eight is a dead link and should be removed if it is unable to be used. Grammatically speaking some of the sentences could be shortened so that it's not considered a 'run-on' sentence.
