editThere seems to be a conflict between this article and Devonshire Street railway station which says Devonshire Street railway station opened in which 1839. This says the first terminus was Mile End opened in 1839 and then the year later Devonshire Street railway station became the terminus, all while Bishopsgate/Shoreditch was abuilding.--SilasW (talk) 20:02, 13 November 2009 (UTC)--SilasW (talk) 20:04, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

edit"class=start"? Who does these ratings? The article isn't perfect, but it's a jolly sight better than class=start. Afterbrunel (talk) 10:27, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Afterbrunel: The guide is linked in the WikiProject banner at the top, it's the words "quality scale". Anybody may assess an article up to and including B-class without consulting anybody else. The criteria for B-class are fairly rigid, see WP:BCLASS, but below that there is considerable leeway. Above B-class, the GA, A and FA ratings all require discussion with at least one other person besides compliance with strict criteria - see WP:WIAGA, WP:ACLASS and WP:WIAFA. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:01, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
