This article is just nonsense crap, I would suggest removing it asap.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.84.93.138 (talk) 14:42, 24 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can you elaborate on "crap" and "nonsense" with respect to this article. The whole point for this definition is that weak unscientific people tend to use vague words like "nonsense" and "crap" in definitions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waidyanatha (talkcontribs) 17:24, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

"People-centred early warning systems" are good but for an abstract definition we need to think beyond people. For example, we often observe early warning in the animal kingdom with monkeys, on the high branches, warning deer, gracing under the shrubs, of a stalking leopard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waidyanatha (talkcontribs) 17:28, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

This article still needs work. I cleaned up some of the wording, but it still feels too verbose - the second paragraph (Risk analysis involves systematically...) drags on for longer than it should. I'll give it another pass later this evening. Etherealflux (talk) 17:59, 26 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
