He could also have chosen Earl of Beaconsfield because the title Earl of Wycombe was already extant - a previous Wycombe MP and Prime Minister (The Marquess of Lansdowne) possessed it. And Beaconsfield is the nearest town to Wycombe. Petsco (talk) 14:25, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
