I do not agree with the statement that "eXist tends to be bigger than most database formats, which does impact performance". This means an implicit negative weighting of eXist (and actually all pure XML databases) without any proofs. Even if it would be true then there should be an overview of pros and contras!— Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.12.9.214 (talk) 10:18, 22 August 2006

Rehabilitating this page edit

The maintenance template (tag) on this page states, "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page." As a member of the eXist open source community, I have reviewed the current page and find no cause for concern. There are no boastful claims - all information on the page is purely descriptive. I would request that the tag be removed. Or there are any concerns with the content? Joewiz (talk) 20:44, 8 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sometimes the rule appears to be "you're not allowed to contribute to a Wikipedia article if you know what you're talking about". Mhkay (talk) 18:33, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
