1995 or 2001
editThe Sunday Times Magazine says it was founded in 1995 ("Zuber, 44, and Mohsin, a year older, bought their first petrol station on a busy road in Bury in 1995 and wanted to go one better than their father, who ran a garage in the 1980s."), but the Financial Times says it was founded in 2001 ("The business is owned by the Issa brothers, who began with one filling station in Bury, Greater Manchester, in 2001.").Zigzig20s (talk) 13:45, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
Splitting proposal
editI'm kind of on the fence on this but what is everyone's thoughts on creating a separate page on EG Group's North American convenience store division, EG America? Right now I'm in favor of keeping it as is, but if any more new material is added--and I'll admit, I'm guilty of adding a lot of that material--a split probably would be a good idea. Right now I want to see everyone's thoughts on this before making a decision. Thanks! Jgera5 (talk) 04:42, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
There’s one for Australia, if it’s pretty significant in the US now or at a good size, why not? Josh (talk) 16:12, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support Keeping it as it is. There is not enough material to justify splitting it out yet, IMO. Dormskirk (talk) 16:37, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
