Reference book edit

Fubbi Quantz and other Mickey Mouse and fantasy names, can somebody remove the self-directs to this article, as per the guidelines? Has somebody read David C. Lane's book about Eckankar that I think could make a good source for this article? Andries 21:55, 2 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

article improvements edit

I have tried to make improvements to this article according to the Wikipedia standards. I reorganized the categories and took out some excess wording and tried to make it easier to read. KarateLadyKarateLady 17:31, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

No relevance edit

Can somebody explain why Gopal Das redirects here when he's cited in the article titled stem cells? I was flummoxed when I visited this page to see all mumbo-jumbo about some spiritual truths when I just wanted to know the 'scientific' aspect to Gopal Das. Sriram sh 07:58, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Stem Cell Research, Gopal Das redirects here??! edit

Any reason why clicking Gopal Das here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stem_cell#Controversy_surrounding_stem_cell_research redirects to stuff about ECK Masters? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.203.165.184 (talk) 16:57, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Made a suggestion for that change here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Stem_cell/External_links_proposals#Links_to_Remove 76.17.147.234 (talk) 13:46, 27 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed edit

This is a religion and there is no independent corroboration for the existence of these people under these names and in these places. Furthermore, the literary evidence collected by David Lane indicates that the Eck master mythology indicates difficulties with the Eck Master mythology. For example, adapting a text by another author and adapting it to quote Eck master as the author of the main content (i.e. Rebazar Tarzs' quotes in The Far Country as an adaptation of a book by Julian Johnson). See David Lane's website and book for more on this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.183.197.97 (talk) 04:35, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

For a different view, The Whole Truth, by Doug Marman, thoroughly addresses David Lane's claims one by one. Light&sound3 (talk) 19:29, 2 June 2009 (UTC) 6/2/09Reply

Why is ECKANKAR in ALL CAPS? edit

It's not at the main Eckankar article. If there is no disagreement, I'll change it.--Editor2020 (talk) 20:54, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

At least in the past, all-caps was the way the ECKANKAR organization did it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.183.197.97 (talk) 15:04, 26 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
