International e-GIFs edit

Hey all, New Zealand also has e-GIF framework. See http://www.e.govt.nz/standards/e-gif/e-gif-v-3/e-gif-v-3-total.pdf. It is largely the same as the UK one. Likewise, Reach is the organisation empowered with egovernment interoperability in the Republic of Ireland. This link no longer exists. The UK government is consolidating web sites and this is one that has gone http://www.govtalk.gov.uk/

Hi

I'd like to find out what happened to the e-GIF project, but it seems that the external links (such as http://www.govtalk.gov.uk/) are outdated.

In what state is this project now?

I tried to search the National Archives but only ended up with unsatisfying results.

The original urls are mostly archived at the TNA web archive. Prefix original urls with "http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/+/" and you should find that most of the links are saved, even if it is laborious to do this for every link on every archived page. Most of the maintenance and development activity appears to have migrated from central government and Cabinet Office to the Local Government Association esd website, http://about.esd.org.uk/. --KenBailey (talk) 08:48, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
