Considering using the current sources on this page to flesh out this article. Further sources may be used in the future as I find them/gain access to them. Kenneth Kardong, who wrote three of the current sources, has additional articles related to Duvernoy's gland which I am currently trying to access[1][2]Murry4329 (talk) 04:29, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- Murry4329 I think your page looks really good overall though some changes can be made.
1. I think you can introduce a little bit about each scientist that is mentioned on your page. E.g. Dr. Kardong, who is well-known for his research about vertebrates. Something like that to give the audience a background about these scientists. 2. Under the "Function" section, you can split it into "Evolutionary" with two sentences: "The evolutionary path... and These genes are ..." 3. I don't understand these sentences. Can you rewrite them? "However, the two types of glands are also “anatomically and functionally distinct,” leading experts such as Dr. Kenneth Kardong to maintain the distinction between the Duvernoy’s gland and venom glands." " Kardong also notes that although some Duvernoy’s gland secretions may be toxic and that they can produce pain, swelling, and other effects if injected subcutaneously; this does not make those secretions venoms."
The image looked awesome, Ryan. Though, I would be careful to say that the color of the gland is white. It looked like yellow-ish to me more than white. Megamanhuy (talk) 08:22, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
