Each of the three have been interviewed post break up: I've included a quote from Murphy about the group from early 2000s. Haven't found contemporaneous interviews or reviews of their work. McFarlane briefly mentions them in Ollie Olsen's entry but no separate entry.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 06:49, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

I recall Jim Glaspole's review of them live in Zeeeeen #2 (I think), after which he started a record label and released the 12", and some sort of article in a later issue (interview? live review?) - needless to say my copies of Zeeeeeeen (however many E's there are) are long-lost - David Gerard (talk) 12:37, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

BTW, when was Murphy in No? I recall him as not being in that one. I see the claim he was is also in the No and Murphy articles, but the cites don't seem to support it - David Gerard (talk) 12:39, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure exactly when he was in No but McFarlane says "and new member John Murphy (drums; ex-Whirlywirld, Slub, No, Max Q)" by October 1990, when JM joins Sydney-based group, Box the Jesuit, here. From what I can gather JM was in two or more groups at the same time.

Holmgren doesn't list No for Murphy here (he does have Sheridan in No).

While talking JM, he is interviewed by BSide, according to its issue #25: he's in issues #24 and #26. I can't find an online copy of either one. BTW issue #25 appeared in ca. Oct/Nov 1990; it says the Dumb and the Ugly debut lp was already out. It mentions Sheridan in No, describes JM in Box the Jesuit.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 21:57, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Yeah. I'm pretty sure McFarlane just got that wrong. I remember being surprised at the time that Murphy wasn't in No (it was Olsen/Sheridan/Hoy/drum-machine) and then that Murphy was in Max Q. Murphy isn't on any of the No records, for example. Is there any other evidence, either way? - David Gerard (talk) 23:07, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

And I am retrospectively so annoyed I gave my zine collection to the WA state library rather than scanning it myself. Anyone in Perth got time for a visit for research? - David Gerard (talk) 23:10, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
