I have nominated this article to be checked for its neutrality due to its disproportionally large "Criticism" section, which lacks citations. Furthermore, NPOV tags have been placed on this page in the past and removed without significant edits or any discussion.

I have re-nominated this article for NPOV check -- it seems to me that any article that is almost entirely criticism and barely touches on its history at all cannot be a balanced article. There must be another side to all of this -- or, at least, something purely factual about the company and its history. ~~ Meeples (talk)(email) 17:47, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Sarcasm aside, it is not at all easy. The lead here currently says that two publications ranked Duane Reade, under Cohen's leadership, the best-performing chain. Publication names alone would be fine, except both have many long articles in FindArticles alone, and I'm still looking for articles from them that give those claims outright. It would be far too easy to whitewash Duane Reade here—certainly much easier than finding such vaguely-cited sources. --an odd name 21:12, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
