Semi-protected edit request on 30 December 2019 edit

In the cast section of the page. A character played by Surresh Krishna is referred as complete actor Bhadran which is incorrect. So remove the complete actor from it Fazilrinshad23 (talk) 16:01, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Interstellarity (talk) 16:16, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Redundant, sections have been changed per a later request. GirthSummit (blether) 18:39, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Megastar Suresh Krishna to

Complete actor Suresh krishna 2409:4073:2085:BC98:DFE7:D9C1:C7EE:7794 (talk) 07:09, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is probably redundant now; neither phrase seems ideal, and I've reworded the relevant sections. GirthSummit (blether) 18:38, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Remove the "megastar" etc? edit

Looks like the focus of the edit war was the phrases "Megastar Hareendran" and "Complete actor Bhadran", but neither designation seems to fill any function ("complete actor" doesn't even mean anything; judging from the reviews linked in the article, that role is simply a rival actor, and a fairly minor part as most reviews don't even mention him). Is there an admin around who could simply change those to "Hareendran" and "Bhadran", possibly with the addition ", an actor"? That would be more in accordance with WP:CASTLIST. --bonadea contributions talk 14:44, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Done These seem like sensible suggestions - neither 'megastar' nor 'complete' seemed to be adding any meaning here. GirthSummit (blether) 18:34, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Spelling of the title edit

The film is called Driving Licence, according to the poster and seven out of the eight listed reviews. I assume that Indian English uses the Commonwealth spelling convention, and it looks pretty clear to me that the title uses the spelling "licence". Could the article be moved to that spelling? –-bonadea contributions talk 14:51, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Done Yep - the spelling should match that used on the poster, I'm guessing this was just a typo when the article was created. GirthSummit (blether) 18:35, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes licence is Indian / British English whereas license is American English. Thedon1 (talk) 20:31, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Prithviraj Sukumaran as "Hareendran" to "Superstar Hareendran". Sources: [1][2][3]. 2409:4073:39F:708B:31FA:EA43:DBB2:6CFA (talk) 11:16, 14 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not done The sources use "superstar" as a premodifying adjective, not a name. (Just like one of the sources says "director Lal Jr" and "writer Sachi" – those adjectives are not part of their names.) --bonadea contributions talk 16:31, 14 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
