Character image edit

The character image is by Kouta Hirano; however, the coloring for that image is from a deviantART user named ChronoTata. The original is uncolored. I suggest that the image should be replaced with the black and white original. 24.5.93.153 (talk) 13:25, 29 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Offscourings or Ends? edit

Hirano has elected to translate 廃棄物 as "Ends" (エンズ) according to the translator's note at the end of Chapter 18 and the Japanese Drifters page uses this translation as well. Should we use that translation on the English page as well or should we take a leaf out of the translator's book and wait to see if he uses the term in the actual manga before making the change if a change is to be made at all? Shvybzik (talk) 16:46, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Dark Horse translation use it as well, so change it IMO. Ominae (talk) 05:31, 19 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
It looks like "Ends" was also used in the most recent chapter of the comic itself, and in my mind the fact that it's the term of choice for both Dark Horse and Hirano confirms its official status, so I am all for the change. Thank you for your input. Shvybzik (talk) 08:49, 19 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fan theories about the Black King's identity edit

I realize that a lot of Drifters fans believe that the Black King is probably Jesus Christ and, as a result, there have been a lot of edits to the Offscourings section to reflect that. I myself am indifferent to the Christ theory, however, since the Black King's identity remains unverified as of this post, I do not believe that this fan theory belongs in the article. If you want to discuss Drifters fan theories then there is a Drifters Wiki for that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shvybzik (talkcontribs) 18:32, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

You are exactly correct that speculation does not belong in the article. Speculations is a violations of Wikipedia's No Original Research and Verifiability policies. —Farix (t | c) 21:07, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
All right. I will continue to revert any edits that attempt to include this information just as I've been doing, and I hope that the consensus of this talk page will deter people from making such edits in the future. Shvybzik (talk) 00:14, 27 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

These were removed from the external links section, so archiving them here:

Because a user has a problem with using the VA's verified, official Twitter account as a source for the role of a character he plays in, I am leaving the source here~ Micah Solusod Confirms Role as Mills on Twitter. Mr. Soluod also confirms his role as Mills on his official website, but apparently, that can't be used either as a source. This Tweet from someone who works at FUNimation spoke to ADR director Mr. Bevins and confirms that Mitsuhide was voiced by VA Brandon Potter.--68.11.91.158 (talk) 05:55, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Chapter Names edit

These chapters names are seemingly based off of the fan translations of the series, instead of the DHC translation. Can somebody fix this to match the official version of the names? 2001:448A:2014:2B10:E17D:DAC9:76C4:1025 (talk) 13:52, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
