Non-free image use edit

@Editor3050: Each time a non-free file is used in a Wikipedia article, a separate specific non-free use rationale is required per WP:NFCC#10c. The rationale needs to clearly show how this particular use satisfies all 10 non-free content criteria. The files File:Saguni.JPG, File:Joker 2016 Tamil poster.jpg, File:Kaashmora poster.jpg, File:Kootathil Oruthan First Look Poster.jpg, and File:Poster of The Sunshine.jpg are all lacking the rationale needed for use in this particular article. If you feel non-free use is justified, then please provide the appropriate rationales. Be advised though that simply providing a rationale is only one part of one of the aforementioned criteria. All 10 have to be clearly satisfied and using non-free images in a gallery markup is generally considered decorative as explained in WP:NFG because the context required by WP:NFCC#8 is typically lacking. You are correct in that non-free use is not only limited to a single article, but movie poster art such is these is generally only considered acceptable as the primary means of identification in stand-alone articles about movies. In other article, like studio articles, non-free use is much harder to justify. This type of poster art is not all that different from how Wikipedia's non-free content policy is applied to book covers, album covers, etc. (See WP:NFC#cite_note-3). Having written all of that, I have no problem discussing the non-free use of these files at WP:FFD if you like, but it is your responsibility to provide the required non-free use rationales as explained in WP:NFCCE. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:40, 19 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
