Question
Was the following removed or otherwise reverted because Nate Spidgewood, through what I presume to be yet another myriad of IP addresses, added them?
On July 23, 2012, Animation acquired Classic Media from Boomerang Media for $155 million; the company became a unit of DreamWorks Animation and was renamed DreamWorks Classics. On June 18, 2014, DreamWorks Animation bought the "Felix the Cat" brand and added it to the DreamWorks Classics portfolio. On April 28, 2016, NBCUniversal announced it would be acquiring its parent company, DreamWorks Animation for $3.8 billion. On August 22, 2016, the acquisition was completed.

It kind of bothers me that the status of a single person (in this and apparently plenty of other cases, a banned user) can influence the correctness of any information regardless of all other factors. I just need to know if Nate was the sole cause of all of the above's removal and/or reversion, so that I can know if they can be safely restored by someone else. --Ryanasaurus0077 (talk) 02:22, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
Gumby?
It said in this page: http://www.ew.com/article/2012/07/23/dreamworks-classic-he-man-gumby-casper that Gumby is one of the characters that DreamWorks Animation bought from Classic Media. Is this true? --2601:2C0:C280:21A0:8C84:59D1:E805:D53F (talk) 21:47, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
- Maybe Classic Media had some distribution rights at the time of the article? The copyright on gumby.com is "Copyright © 2017 Prema Toy Inc. and Premavision Inc." and has no mentions of or links to DreamWorks Animation or DreamWorks Classics. Trivialist (talk) 00:59, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
