Needs citation clean up edit

The wikipedia style is to put citations inline with the <ref>{{cite blah}}</ref> syntax. It looks like a few of these were done, bit others have the simple name and year in parentheses that might indicate a cut-n-paste from some other work. For example, at one point it says (Chambers 1996) but there is no work listed for Chambers that year, only the original 1983 paper? Then there was a whole long list that do not seem cited? I moved those into "further reading" but not sure what they are for. There are also names and years in the block quote, which is generally confusing as to whom says what. Also make sure to wikilink authors when they are notable enough instead of just giving last name and assuming we "know" which one it is. This topic clearly seems notable, but needs just a little effort to get into more wikipedia-style shape. Thanks for all the work so far. W Nowicki (talk) 23:38, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
