Talk:Dramatic and performing arts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

Would it be worthwhile to incorporate the history of the Carolina Playmakers, the theatre company at UNC-Chapel Hill that was founded in 1919 and was the precursor to Playmakers Rep, on the Playmakers Repertory Company page, rather than giving it its own page? It seems as though anyone interested in the history of one might also want to read about the history of the other. There are mentions of Carolina Playmakers on other related pages, but they have nowhere to link to. Would like to do some work on this, but wanted to throw out this organization question first. Thoughts? Czarinanc (talk) 19:37, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

As I haven't seen any objections, I've incorporated some historical information on the Carolina Playmakers into this PRC article, to keep information about the two companies in the same place. I also moved the "History of Historic Playmakers Theatre" in the section on "Venues," although it's more of a historical venue than a current one, to make the article as a whole look less repetitive. Works for everyone? Czarinanc (talk) 16:50, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
