It seems to me that the San Diego, California article is supposed to be about the city itself and therefore anything that is not already present there needs to be moved while this title needs to be redirected to that article. Erechtheus 04:35, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Oppose. Downtown San Diego is a separate topic from the City of San Diego. Downtown San Diego is about a specific section of San Diego, that happens to be referred to as Downtown. The San Diego article is about the entire city, it's history, the government, etc. --Serge 22:39, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

"'Oppose'". I believe 'Downtown San Diego' should be about downtown SD. However, in the section which names the neighborhood names, one area was listed that is not part of downtown. Therefore I added the names of a few surrounding neighborhoods around downtown. Should I remove them to keep this page purely downtown? --Thucydides1

Arts and culture section

This section has been repeatedly removed twice now and I want to know why. I think it's relevant and it is inline with other San Diego neighborhood since downtown, collectively is very distinct compared to the rest of the city and the region as a whole.--Chicbicyclist 07:39, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

I fixed the links and reworded a few things on the neighborhoods and district part. I also created two sections of neighborhoods, although I'm not sure it it would be better as one or two. ChristopherMannMcKay 18:40, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I removed the second part of the neighborhoods section because they are just clutter. Not relevant at all. I was going to make a separate paragraph mentioning these as borders but it is already in the first one paragraph of the article.
