Removed Unprecedented Statement edit

Until it is actually proved to have come from the players, this has no place here. At the moment, Aston Villa are officially denying it. Gretnagod 11:39, 15 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Deadly Doug edit

has no one mentioned the anecdote about his nickname and his prowess with "the priest"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnybriggs (talkcontribs) 19:34, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Died in Kosovo???? edit

It's not in the source for his death and raises the question of what a 94-year-old retired sports executive was doing in the Balkans. I've been here long enough to know that there's a problem with editors from small obscure countries who love to plaster references to their country all over popular articles, so I'm taking this as false unless a source can be found.
