Untrue claim

"Collins has written letters in defense of military chaplains including Joseph Lawhorn[37] and Wes Modder,[38] both of whom have faced opposition for expressing their Christian beliefs." This is not true. Both "faced opposition" for attempting to impose their beliefs on others. Barefoot through the chollas (talk) 19:35, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

Sentence Structure

"Collins said the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 would not result in anyone losing health coverage[34] although critics in the media, think tanks and academia assailed the law, mainly based on forecasts of its adverse impact (notably higher budget deficit,[35] higher trade deficit,[36] greater income inequality,[37][38] lower healthcare coverage and higher healthcare costs),[39] although it has disproportionate impact on certain states and professions,[40][41] although misrepresentations were made by its advocates,[42][43] although some of the reforms have become controversial within key states, particularly the $10,000 cap on state and local tax deductibility, and although polling shows Americans net oppose the law.[44]"

Can anyone re-write this awful run-on sentence with its FIVE uses of the word "although"? Please? --Christofurio (talk) 14:53, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Date?

This paragraph in the introduction needs a date: "Collins finished in third place behind Democrat Raphael Warnock and incumbent Republican Kelly Loeffler in the state's open primary, failing to make it to the top-two runoff. Collins opted out of a reelection bid in order to run for the Senate and will be succeeded in the House by Andrew Clyde." Kdammers (talk) 01:33, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
