Doublethink?
Doublethink doesn't have shit to do with double-standards. Doublethink is holding two contradictory ideas and believing them both to be true. Double standards are about hipocrisy and how people jump on high horses and judge others more harshly than themselves for the same actions and failures.--Kickflipthecat 01:27, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Doublethink and double standards are both related to hypocrisy. And both are distinct from hypocrisy. I think that many people do connect Doublethink and double standard and I think it is valuable to have a link to "doublethink" from double standard for those who would confuse the two. 165.82.28.182 (talk) 15:24, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
