Rolling Stone writer seems to be an unreliable source

This guy gets the lyrics wrong and says they don't make sense, but it's actually "gets the best of me", not exactly an obscure phrase, but he thinks it's "is the best of me" (checked that with the source, it's his mistake, not a wiki editor), that indicates a very low level of professionalism. Also he completely misunderstands the song and thinks it's about sex when it's clearly about drugs. Apparently "out of my head" was too subtle for him. I haven't deleted the quotes since I'm not that familiar with wiki policies don't want to start an edit war, but is it normal to cite someone who completely misunderstands the subject? 49.226.194.240 (talk) 09:22, 5 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
