Is that actually true? On modern 5.25" discs (from 1990ies) it's vice-versa: A double-sided disc has only one read/write notch (because it expects the disk drive to have two read/write heads), and the extra notch would be required only when using such double-sided disks in a single-sided disk drive. 2OO.3OO.2OO.3OO (talk) 23:14, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
