Footlight Parade

I have removed the comment "she got a job in the chorus of 'Footlight Parade' (1933)... Lamour's participation in this film has long been disputed and I am a major Lamour fan/collector yet have never seen any articles on Lamour that confirm this appearance. This rumor I believe started in a book of movie musicals published in the early 1970's and has grown from there. Another source says a "Donna LaBarr" is a chorus in the film - possibly someone confused her with Lamour. College Holiday

I seriously doubt Lamour appears in this movie which also occasionally shows up in her filmography. By 1936 she was already a name as a radio singer, it is unlikely she would have started her film career in a bit part. I believe I have successfully tracked down how "College Holiday" appears in Lamour's filmography - in many areas, including New York, it was released a double-bill with Lamour's first movie "The Jungle Princess". Selected filmography

As per Wikipedia is not a collection of lists, I have reduced the Filmography section of Dorothy Lamour (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) to just the films that have Wikipedia articles, and renamed it to Selected filmography ... people can click the IMDb External link that follows the section to see the subject's full filmography with links to information about each of their films.

Please see the template's talk page for examples of using the {{Imdb name}}, {{Imdb title}}, {{Tv.com person}}, and {{Tv.com show}} templates.

I have also used [[19xx in film|19xx]] tags for the years of the films, since [[19xx]] has little encyclopedic value.
