Should she have her own page? edit

As it stands now, this page is almost entirely a copy and paste of Beaversprite, including things that happened after her death. Generally people who are notable for a single thing are included on the page of the thing they're notable for. Since Richards' life was so intertwined with the Beaversprite sanctuary I'm not sure splitting her into a bio page is the right choice here. Apocheir (talk) 00:32, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes, for her conservation work alone, she should have her own page. In addition to co-founding the sanctuary, she devoted her life to studying the beaver population within and beyond the sanctuary and also co-wrote a book about her research. Another way to think of her impact? Without Dorothy Burney Richards, there would have been no Beaversprite. And without Dorothy Burney Richards, there would also be a much smaller body of research about the North American beaver. She is at least as notable and worthy of remembrance as the sanctuary she created and developed. - 47thPennVols (talk) 01:07, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Well, you sound pretty sure, so I'll be interested to see your future work on this page. Apocheir (talk) 02:57, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
