Fetal Heart Rate Monitor versus Fetal Heart Monitoring

I have a problem with the first sentence of this article. If you read the referenced link for item [1], Dr. Edward H. Hon did not invent the Fetal Heart Rate Monitor, though he seems to have been the first person to have recorded his finding from studying a fetal heart rate for a specific distress issue. For example, if it was determined that Mr. Wang invented Tea, does that mean he invented the Tea Pot? Should also refer to Sonicaid and Doug Fielder in history of Doppler fetal monitors

The opening statement that Hon invented the Doppler fetal monitor appears not to be evidenced by the reference given, which is about the use of ECG not Doppler.

I wonder if others should also be mentioned in the history of the development of Doppler fetal monitors. The Sonicaid page, which is linked, has references to the work of Frederick (Doug) Fielder, who conducted trials and prototyped the early Doppler ultrasound products in the UK.
