Contested deletion
editSubject is clearly notable. Reliable sources have been provided. Speedy deletion is wholly inappropriate. Benjamin (talk) 12:20, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- The nomination reason was "a very short article lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article," but there was sufficient context to identify it as a concept in economics, so I have declined the deletion nomination. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:18, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Doom loop into Economic collapse
editThe term doom loop appears to be a neologism that has significant overlap with the concept covered in the Economic collapse article. As the article is also very short, I propose that the Doom loop article be merged into the Economic collapse article. — Newslinger talk 05:25, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
- That article doesn't even mention it. I think some other Wikipedia articles do, if I recall, however, so perhaps those should be considered. Benjamin (talk) 05:32, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
- I've check what currently links to Doom loop, and it is only linked (in article space) from Economic collapse to Bailout. Of these, the synonym is clearly Economic collapse, so I support the proposal to merge there. I also note that Benjaminikuta (Bemjamin) created the page in May 2019 and it doesn't seem to have developed since then. Klbrain (talk) 19:26, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
12 months since it was first proposed that it be merged with Economic Collapse, this entry has remained just a single line definition, more fitting for a dictionary than an encyclopedia. This suggests that it should be merged.Ian Radbone (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 21:34, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 10:00, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
