Age edit

It is stated in the article that Tobias was born May 22, 1952 and enlisted in the US Navy in March 1954. That means she would’ve turned 22 in “boot camp”, which is 9 weeks long. After graduation, off to MOS school, then her assigned duties as a fitter/hull technician at the age of 22. From that vantage, she applied for (and was accepted) entry into the deep sea dive program. Dates were not provided for said acceptance in the program, only that she was accepted 2 days prior to the program starting.

In the article, it stated she applied for the program while she was 21, when she was employed as a fitter/hull technician. Simple math calculations make this claim impossible.

Part of the reason Wikipedia is not accepted as a viable research option is because of nefarious sources, information is not properly researched or the author doesn’t care to correct their mistakes, such as the simple math calculations involved in Tobias’ listed ages. It is my desire to see such mistakes and corrections made, and it is the author’s RESPONSIBILITY to do so. Nmboomhand (talk) 21:04, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

January of 1975 she would’ve been 22, but still could not have applied while 21. Nmboomhand (talk) 21:11, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Category - American female divers, is this wrong? edit

"Category:American female divers". This appears to be a list of competitive athletic divers, as in diving off diving boards or platforms. 2604:3D08:178E:6700:2039:BA2E:F7BD:96D8 (talk) 01:28, 16 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
