When did WW II end? edit
Whoever edits this page might want to look at the sentence
"Upon the fall of Bataan in April 1942, he evaded capture and until October 1945 conducted guerrilla warfare on the island of Luzon."
Since the War ended in September 1945, something should be added to explain why Blackburn was fighting until October. As most people do not know, but I assume editors of this page do, Japanese forces continued to fight in the Philippines into September 1945 (or later?). However, by that time any guerrilla forces Blackburn commanded in the war were probably now either regular or auxiliary forces attached to American command as they continued to fight Japanese holdout forces. A sentence or two would clear things up for the average reader. Either that or "October" is a typo. Thomas R. Fasulo (talk) 01:02, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
