I have tons of photos of this observatory from a visit last year, but no time to update the entry. If anyone's editing and needs them, give me a shout. Thomasonline (talk) 06:33, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Who is John A. Galt?

edit

So, the 26-meter telescope is called the John A. Galt telescope: http://www.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/eng/solutions/facilities/drao.html It's named after John Alexander Galt, the facility's first employee and longtime director: https://aas.org/obituaries/john-alexander-galt-1925-2012 He's not presently known to Wikipedia, but it would be cool to work this information in, especially since it's easy to assume the instrument is named after that *other* John Galt. I might do this later if I have time, but it's here if anyone else wants to tackle it. Myself248 (talk) 15:59, 20 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

The Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment is built and running. Maybe a picture of the array and a mention of its mentions in media, like magazine covers? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.71.112.81 (talkcontribs) 13:04, 1 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
