Reverted redirect edit

The change to a redirect to sinkhole did not include the talk page. Also, someone looking for the village (for which there is an article) would not be able to find it. To do the redirect properly, there should be a hatnote at the top of the sinkhole article directing people to the village if they want it. This dab page is more straightforward.— Gorthian (talk) 21:52, 3 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

DolineDoline (disambiguation) – The primary topic for "doline" is clearly sinkhole, which ranks way ahead of a little-known village of 500 people. So this move should be followed by turning "doline" into a re-direct to sinkhole. Bermicourt (talk) 20:33, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Support not even sure the village justifies a hatnote. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:43, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose: no evidence presented by the nominator that doline meets the criteria to become a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT over the pages current use as a DAB page. Ebonelm (talk) 22:21, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • Comment If we look at Google Books "doline" and "sinkhole" produce around 3,000 hits whereas "Doline" and "Kanjiža" produce just 7 results. In light of this, please would you consider withdrawing your oppose? Thanks. --Bermicourt (talk) 10:02, 16 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. SSTflyer 12:37, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. Evidence for this is very hard to gather, seeing as the geomorphic term is the same as the word for "valley" in several Slavic languages, but it makes sense that the synonym for "sinkhole" would be more widespread in its use than any of the village names, except perhaps locally. — Gorthian (talk) 22:03, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
