Well I have had a read of this article and I can see very few issues in this article:

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose is "clear and concise", without copyvios, or spelling and grammar errors:
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. Has an appropriate reference section:
    B. Citation to reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are provided if possible and are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

Well either this is a good article or I am rubbish at reviewing articles. And comparing this to other "at the 2008 Summer Olympics" articles, I think it's the former. Nonetheless, I did find a couple of issues:

Lead section

  • "Djibouti's only Olympic medalist, was selected as the flag bearer for both the opening and closing ceremonies despite not competing in 2008." - Link flag bearer to List of flag bearers for Djibouti at the Olympics. That way, we don't need the See also section.

Athletics

  • Merge both the Men's and Women's competition sections together. No need to have them separate in my opinion.
  • "Competing at her first olympics" - cap Olympics.
  • "Feraez was 3.16 seconds behind the fastest athlete and 0.48 seconds behind the slowest athlete who progressed to the semi-finals, Thi Huong Vu." - after this sentence, perhaps you can add "Therefore, she did not advance to later rounds." Either that or something similar.

See also

  • See above. No need for this section.

Going to promote once these issues are sorted. Nice job. good888 (talk) 15:20, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
