Reason for removal of maintenance tags edit

First and foremost, the unidentified IP address did not give any cause for addition of this maintainance templates, he/she included "discuss in talk page" but has left no argument or reasoning for these tags, hence technically, I am free to remove these tags as they are unsubstantiated. Also the article is pre patrolled and has been given a start class rating, unlike usual pages with maintainance tags which are almost always a stub class. The tag is that of advertorialism, according to rules of Wikipedia I am able to prove this tag unwarranted by the following paramters, (the words in the paranthesis are quoted text from the Wikipedia Policy, WPSoapbox)

1. [Advocacy, propaganda, or recruitment of any kind: commercial, political, scientific, religious, national, sports-related, or otherwise. An article can report objectively about such things, as long as an attempt is made to describe the topic from a neutral point of view.]

The entire article has been written in a completely neutral point of view with no promotional words, as this is basically pointing towards WPPeacock, according to the Peacock regulation, the list of 'adjectives' that must not be used are [legendary, great, acclaimed, visionary, outstanding, leading, celebrated, award-winning, landmark, cutting-edge, innovative, extraordinary, brilliant, hit, famous, renowned, remarkable, prestigious, world-class, respected, notable, virtuoso, honorable, awesome, unique ...] Not only are these words not used but also, any word that can in any way be linked to ANY form of self proclamation are also avoided, the entire article is written in a completely unbiased tone.

2. [Opinion pieces. Although some topics, particularly those concerning current affairs and politics, may stir passions and tempt people to "climb soapboxes" (for example, passionately advocate their pet point of view), Wikipedia is not the medium for this. Articles must be balanced to put entries, especially for current events, in a reasonable perspective, and represent a neutral point of view. Furthermore, Wikipedia authors should strive to write articles that will not quickly become obsolete.]

At no point in this article has any reference been given to anything that is in ANY way linked to a 'point of view', all material is facts and are linked to multiple, recognized, third party references.

3. [Scandal mongering, promoting things "heard through the grapevine" or gossiping. Articles and content about living people are required to meet an especially high standard, as they may otherwise be libellous or infringe the subjects' right to privacy. Articles must not be written purely to attack the reputation of another person.]

No form of gossip is present in this article whatsoever. Feel free to go through the article before putting up a maintainance tag.

4. [Self-promotion. This includes the requirement to maintain a neutral point of view]

I reiterate, just go through the article. The entire material that has been added refers to important landmarks and achievements which are reported from national and international media, and are notable.

5. [Advertising, marketing or public relations. Information about companies and products must be written in an objective and unbiased style, free of puffery. All article topics must be verifiable with independent, third-party sources, so articles about very small "garage" or local companies are typically unacceptable. ]

The article is about an individual with a notable number of 'India's firsts' and even 'world's firsts' any form of material, there are no materials for puffery, as i stated above about Peacock.

As for COI, please go through my list of edits which not only include article creations and rigorous upkeep of Indian Roboticists but go out as far as to Thai designers, malay models, american artists, to even russian missiles and many many more, I am also an avid recent changes patroller and regularly go out and repair pages that have little resources. Things the individual would have noticed had he/she actually gone through my edits and works,I do not create a page and forget it, I rigorously work hard to keep it up. Unlike the individual who put the tag, made 5 edits for Arsh Shah Dilbagi and 1 for placing a tag on this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasonprost (talkcontribs) 16:39, 11 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
