Talk:Districts of Nauru

Map edit

Help altering the map would be greatly appreciated. Only one thing needs changed. "Nauruische Distrikte" needs to state "Districts of Nauru" or "Nauruan Districts." The names of the districts and towns are exactly the same in English as German. Thanks. GilliamJF 02:51, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Anetan edit

Anetan is probably the most attractive district in Nauru. It consists mostly of related residents who look out for each other whenever needed. It also has a small Baptist church there, the only church in the district.Anetan is also known as the place where you find your rest(a.k.a. paradise) because of the cool breeze that passes through this district. If asked by a local where to find peace and rest they (if they know Nauru well)will recommend Anetan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.20.73.12 (talk) 08:41, 29 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Meneng edit

Meneng is a very beautiful district(Beau-elle's district). It is known to be nice and inviting yet Meneng is also known to the Nauruans to be a very communist district.Through it all it is still part of Nauru and Nauru would never be complete without it.For conclusion one should know that MENENG IS THE BEST! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.20.73.12 (talk) 08:50, 29 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Aiwo edit

Aiwo is a place for tigers only. Its the hidden heart of Nauru it is what we called the 'BLACK & YELLOW land of the Jungle. We rule the land of Nauru. It exports phosphate out of Nauru it has the oldest harbour that is still going beautifully.Aiwo has a tennis, basketball court and a football oval(Linkbelt Oval). It is really fascinating and fulfilling to any one who seeks solace and pleasure. It is a place where one's true color is seen and aggression is all part of the game! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.20.73.12 (talk) 09:11, 29 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

No reply, the (evidently non-controversial) merge was undertaken -- Peter Talk page 22:45, 18 April 2012 (UTC))Reply

I propose merging this article into the main Nauru article and redirecting to there. It's very short - it's basically a list and the conent could be better expanded (we could have more information about the role of the districts) if it was being seen by more people. Nauru isn't particularly well-known, and if a reader wants an overview of the country they are less to visit related articles. Additionally, the Nauru article could benefit from the map on this page, and it seems silly duplicating it both here and there. Does anybody oppose a merger? -- Peter Talk page 22:21, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
