Did you know nomination

  • ... that Dissolution Grip by KMRU uses recordings of the artist's shack being struck by strong winds?

  •   Dissolution Grip: New enough (created a week before nom, so that's fine), long enough (~2700). Article well cited throughout to solid sources. No neutrality/close paraphrasing or copyright violation issues noted. Hook fact is interesting and is cited in this article; referenced to Schoop 2023 (ref 1): "'Along A Wall' bookends the album with a locational recording captured at Kamaru's estate in Nairobi. The original track was recorded in an old shack, as the building was being shaken to its core by winds." No image. QPQ not done. Other notes: "His grandfather, also named Joseph Kamaru, was a well-known benga musician.[1] Kamaru is known for being prolific and working with field recordings." << Might be useful to add "The younger" to the start of the second sentence to clarify which Kamaru it's referring to, since it sounds like both artists were prolific! —Collint c 23:48, 4 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
  •   KMRU: New enough (converted from redirect on August 3), just long enough (~1560). Also well-cited throughout to reliable sources and no close paraphrasing concerns I could discern nor copyvio issues detected by Earwig. Hook fact is not mentioned in this article but that's contextually fine. No BLP or non-neutrality issues. No pic (though this YouTube video is licensed CC-BY if you wanted to do a screengrab and upload to Commons - let me know if you do!). QPQ still needs doing. Other note: "After his death in 2018, the younger Kamaru reissued some of his album" >> should this be "albums"? —Collint c 23:48, 4 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
