Talk:Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Hotel rating

edit

As of 2007, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is not a five-star hotel. According to Mobil Travel Guide, it is a three-star hotel (out of five). Under the AAA "diamond" rating system, it is a Four Diamond hotel (out of five). Any claim that the Grand Floridian is a five-star hotel should cite a credible current source. —Whoville 11:15, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Victoria and Albert

edit

I cant find any reference to the practice of calling all male servers at Albert and all female servers Victoria no longer being done. The only references I can find are that the practice still exists. Anyone know of a reference otherwise?--Rtphokie 19:30, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disney's Grand Floridian Orchestra was fired in 2020, other changes

edit

Disney has never categorized the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa as its "flagship" resort hotel. Similarly, it's a matter of opinion to say that this is Walt Disney World's most "opulent" hotel, especially since the 2019 opening of Disney's Riviera Resort and the expanded renovations of Disney's Polynesian resort. Many respected travel guides rank other hotels as more extravagant and beautiful.

I removed the reference to live orchestra and piano performances within Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The orchestra was fired in 2020. [1]

The pianist performs here often, but their performance schedule varies widely by the day. [2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 191.251.204.137 (talk) 13:00, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
