  • @Pbritti:   new enough, long enough, sourced, and plagiarism-free; I think that the bit about the audience "moshing wildly and joyfully" is a little puffy. I'm not sure I love this hook, if only because pop music doesn't tend to turn readers' interests too often – is there another hook that could be found? QPQ has been done, so almost there :) nice work so far! theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 10:48, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sorry I haven't done this immediately; I'm afraid the new year caught me flatfooted. I'll ping you when done! Thanks for the help and precise critiques. ~ Pbritti (talk) 17:24, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Theleekycauldron: Removed potential puffery, new alt below:
ALT1: ... that Surf Curse's Nick Rattigan directed a music video depicting an "evening of raw emotion" for the band's single "Disco"?
Sorry, I'm not as clever about these as I wish I was. ~ Pbritti (talk) 18:04, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Pbritti: not as clever? please, pontifical is still one of the best hooks I've ever seen :) I think you've got a bit of an unlucky hand with the sources, though – it doesn't seem like you've got enough of the churn of information that usually brings a good hooky bit with it. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 20:57, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I'll give it another shot tonight (tomorrow UTC). Thanks for the kind words; "pontifical" is my favorite. ~ Pbritti (talk) 22:51, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
