Fair use rationale for Image:Gregori.jpg

edit

Image:Gregori.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

  • Weak support. The article is, and has to be, really about the disappearance rather than the person, but a merge into Emanuela Orlandi is probably more appropriate. The disappearance of this girl appears to be notable, but not so notable that we absolutely must discuss it in a separate article. Nowadays, usually she is mentioned only in connection with the other disappeared girl. Hans Adler 16:42, 23 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Finding of Skeletal remains October 2018

edit

I re-post an update also here ( after having mentioned it on the talk section on the potentially related disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, as the skeletal findings are speculated to be potentially linked to one of the cases, potentially even both; "The family of a teenager who went missing in Italy in 1983 has called on the Vatican to provide more details on the discovery of human remains in one of its properties in Rome.

Fragments of human bone were found during restoration work on the property next to the diplomatic office of the Holy See in Rome in what could be a breakthrough for police investigating one of Italy’s darkest mysteries.

Italian media have speculated that the discovery could shed light on the fate of one or possibly two teenagers who went missing in the 1980s. “We will ask Rome prosecutors and the Holy See how the bones were found and why their discovery has been linked to the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi or Mirella Gregori,” the Orlandis’ family lawyer, Laura Sgrò, told the media."' https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/oct/31/remains-found-in-vatican-property-spark-hopes-of-solving-35-year-mystery

This may obviously be of interest for the article. Okama-San (talk) 13:57, 31 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

...

This article only briefly mentions Emanuela Orlandi as having been another girl who disappeared and was linked to the same crime. There are many pages on this website which use the same format who also have less content. I feel removing this article would be in error especially because of the political connection. Let her be known and rest in peace.
