Move discussion in progress

edit

"disability?" or is this just blind golf?

edit

This article is highly unbalanced. Other than the picture, and a mention in the intro sentence, there is no information on disability classification in golf, with the sole exception of blind golf classification. Either this article should be expanded, or it isn't about "disability classification in golf" at all, and should be merged to blind golf instead. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 01:30, 10 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

edit

[Transcluded from Talk:Blind Golf]: A proposal to merge from Disability classification in golf to Blind golf discussion area:

Nom: I suggest that Disability classification in golf (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) be merged into Blind golf (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) because blind golf is the only thing actually covered in Disability classification in golf. There is no other form of disability covered in that article. The photo of the amputee golfer is therefore highly misleading, since no coverage on that subject is given in the article. The entire article is about blind golf, except the photo of the amputee golfer and the intro sentence. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 01:35, 10 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

How about the other way around, merging Blind golf to Disability classification in golf? Disability classification in golf seems to be the more general term, and includes at least one other category, its usage in Paralympic competition, as well as blind golf.
