Redirect? edit

Is this redirect a good idea? I mean Paraquat and Diquat or not even almost similar in structure...--Winterbay 10:54, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree a redirect is not a good idea and have created an article in its place. --Ed (Edgar181) 14:08, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Residual effect in soil etc. edit

The article states "It bonds strongly to mineral and organic particles in soil and water where it remains without significant degradation for years." Is this true? The reference cited at Reference 3 (the Cornell University Extension Toxicology Network) actually states "It is not residual, that is, it does not leave any trace of herbicide on or in plants, soil, or water." See http://pmep.cce.cornell.edu/profiles/extoxnet/dienochlor-glyphosate/diquat-ext.html Fredsie (talk) 17:04, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Monohydrate edit

When trying to figure out what the IUPAC labeling is (including the 'a' and 'c' bonds), I found that it is also available as the monohydrate, see https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/diquat_dibromide_monohydrate

I was unsuccessful in finding an answer to my question. Who can help me out?
