Correct scientific name should be Diospyros digyna edit

I'm confused about Diospyros nigra. Is this the same as Diospyros digyna? It seems to be called that a lot online, even by seed retailers, but looking up that name didn't even show this Wikipedia page until adding "Wikipedia." Atlas Obscura lists it as an alternate name.

Should we add a redirect?

Ed: It's attested as "nigra" in books as early as "The Silva of North AmericaA Description of the Trees which Grow Naturally in North America Exclusive of Mexico Volume 14" By Charles Sprague Sargent in 1891 and "A Monograph of Ebenaceae" by William Philip Hiern in 1873.
