Talk:Diminished major seventh chord

As far as occurrences are concerned, I think one comes up briefly in the eighth bar of 'Serenata' from Cannonball Adderley's 'Cannonball Takes Charge'. 79.70.177.249 (talk) 21:26, 22 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

On just tuning.

I feel 10:12:14:19 is a more viable voicing of this chord that 200:240:288:375. Should I replace it or put them together? TreeNamedUser (talk) 01:17, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

It's also possible that this chord is just frequently misspelled. To my ear playing it on a piano, the 12EDO chord reads more as a minor-major seventh with an augmented fourth (rather than a diminished fifth), which would be 160:192:225:300. Donhalcon (talk) 02:58, 12 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
