Mistake edit

Errors edit
This is correct so dont correct it if you think it is wrong, however isn't a "Dihybrid cross" the crossing of two sexy ladies That is, two heterozygous individuals? This wikipedia article defines it as the cross of two homozygotes! Someone reply ASAP that we might fix the gaff...note that an "hybrid" is technically the result not of merely breeding, but the heterozygous offspring of genetically dissimilar parents. Thus if you bred AABB x aabb you PRODUCE hybrids (you're not breeding hybrids, so as far as I know this is not a hybrid cross); if you breed AABb x aaBb you get all offspring that are hybrids (heterozygotes) for the AA x aa cross, and some that are hybrids for Bb x Bb cross, and others that are homozygotes for the Bb x Bb cross.
This is significant because the article is suggestive that a dihybrid cross is one between two individuals who appear different in traits, however in reality this may not be the case; two di-heterozygotes when crossed may actually appear to be the same in their phenotypes (traits).
