Merger proposal
editI propose that Difluocortolone valerate be merged into Difluocortolone.
- Merge -
From what I read at Drugs and Patient Info, they are referring to the same drug clinically.
Diflucortolone is the name in DCIT, USAN, DCF, BAN;
Difluocortolone valerate is the name in BANM, JAN.
However, they are actually different chemical substance. Is there any convention on this?
I think usually steroid name does not include the salt unless there are various salts which have different effect. So I propose merge. Liwk (talk) 09:11, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
