Ringelheim? edit

Just as note: the article should avoid to use the designation "of Ringelheim". Both sources are aged, the first reference is actually a reprint of a 1930s (apparently self-published) family history. After checking with similar German articles and modern historian's works (mostly about Otto I), the surname "of Ringelheim" is never used. The only known connection (afaik): some of their relatives had possessions in Ringelheim, but that doesn't make Dietrich or his daughter "of Ringelheim". A better article name would be "Dietrich (count in Westphalia)" or something similar. GermanJoe (talk) 10:45, 13 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

A self-published, aged work is usually not a reliable source. In this case a better, academic source was available, so this source was no longer needed for the cited statement and replaced. If you would like to insert it, please discuss. GermanJoe (talk) 20:59, 8 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

A work published in 1992 is not so old for this subject. Unfortunately, it seems not available on the net anymore. I read some pages last summer and find an analysis worth to read.
