Adverse effects edit

What are the adverse effects of Didymo? Article doesn't say. --DThomsen8 (talk) 12:07, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Strange statement edit

"an extensive public awareness campaign to encourage river users to clean their equipment after use in affected waterways. This campaign was highly successful, with up to a 90% decrease in use of affected rivers."

What is this supposed to mean. How is a 90% reduction in use of affected rivers a successful outcome for a campaign ? If 90% of fishers and boaters have now been discouraged from pursuing activities which they presumably previously enjoyed, then the loss of that enjoyment is a public dis-benefit and can hardly be characterised as highly successful.Eregli bob (talk) 13:57, 26 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

It also lacks a reliable source. I have tagged it as 'needing a citation'. Alternatively you could be bold and delete it. Mrfebruary (talk) 06:09, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
