I'm not actually sure about her exact birth date (which I put in). Neither of the news articles mentions her exact birth date. I inferred Feb 17 from the fact that her 60th birthday was celebrated on 2007-02-17. However that date was a Saturday, so it might be that her actual birthday was e.g. earlier in the week and they just held the celebrations on the Saturday. Should I mark the birth date in the article as approximate, or does anyone have any evidence for her actual birth date? Yogi de (talk) 21:12, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Update: Actually, I found evidence that her actual birthday is February 13. I'll update the article. Yogi de (talk) 21:13, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is this woman even noteable? I mean, I know her death got a lot of coverage, etc., but no one would even know who she was if she hadn;t died in some unusual and unfortunate way, right? And no one will remember her within a few months. I think this is recentism. -FateSmiled&DestinyLaughed (talk) 12:56, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think you're incorrect. Going by the news archive she's been profiled by major papers for years now. See Los Angeles Times of 1991, AP 2007, and the German magazine Stern copied a 2007 AP article with a picture.--T. Anthony (talk) 11:49, 31 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actress Jane Seymour mentioned her book as an inspirational story in a book she wrote in 2004. I think she also visited her in Tennessee.--T. Anthony (talk) 11:58, 31 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
I just want to note it is 4 years later, and I recently came across her name, and looked to wikipedia for more info. --Thespian (talk) 22:26, 15 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
