Picture

edit

There is a picture on Hindi Wiki. How do we link that picture here? Does it need to be reuploaded? Chirag 16:23, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Should we sync the page in Hindi/English/Marathi?

edit

This page is almost blank in Marathi wiki, Once the week is over, should we try and sync the page in Hindi and Marathi as it is improved in english? Chirag 16:24, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not able to use some of the data available on net.

edit

There is plenty of information scattered on one review of autobiography of Maharshi Karve by his great-grandson, Vikram Karve. If someone searched on google, the syndicated article appears on several sites. Since it contained auther's ID, auther was contacted to verify/provide additional information that may make the article on wiki useful and effort worthwhile. But auther declined and directed not use any content from his article. As a result mostly have used the article as a base to verify other sources, readers of the article may find several data available but not updated here, as it would violate copyright for the syndication.

You didn't describe his work on women empowerment like he established first women university in India around 1916. I would like to ask why?? Yashvant kumar dubey (talk) 18:17, 13 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

The mention of Anand, Irawati Karve's son is a bit too much. If he is mentioned then we have to mention Gauri Deshpande and Jai Nimbkar as well. Instead I think we can move info about Anand to Irawati Karve's page. I am doing that now. Kaveri (talk) 20:11, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
